Hither and yawn
First, there was the mouse climbing the wall beside Marge’s head. Was this in Goibei? No. We have to settle for lizards there. Or bats in Zambia. It was at our cottage near Paris, Ontario.
Where we visited for my CATscan. You know, a CATscan would be good to keep the mice away. We await news of the results. X-rays of my head found nothing….
Last November the specialist said I was out of my mind to leave Canada with those 3 kidney stones lodged where they were…… Our visit to Canada has produced many more who feel the same way about my cranial capacity.
And all that studying for the blood tests.
The internet is great: we have been fine tuning the Bible College course I will be teaching in Nyang’ori, starting September 4, and the 6-day church and school leadership seminar in Mumias, starting September 10. We have been able to keep in touch with our fine Kenyan staff on the mission station in Goibei.
It has been great seeing family and friends, but we are also keen to get back “home” in East Africa.
Thanks for praying.
