Kenyan version of 407ETR
You may have guessed that our roads are not much like the 407 north of Toronto. But at least we don’t have toll charges (not here, at least). But 407 is special to us, because that’s how many children attended our Evangelistic Training Rally (ETR….) put on my us and the teachers, last Monday. A great opportunity to reach the nearby school. But that wasn’t all.
The Kenyan flag flapped listlessly in the breeze. The equatorial sun beat down on us as we gathered in a makeshift soccer field. It was an education day. I was asked to speak to the crowd about CREATE…and I also preached the Gospel. To 16 schools. And 6,500 students! And teachers and administrators. And political leaders! What a great opportunity.
I was also reminded that when you are able to support our ministry, you also provide the income of 10 families who work on the mission station. They really appreciate your interest.
