So there I am at a little town called Mbale, Kenya. The market across the street has not changed much in the last 200 years. Except the shirts have modern hockey logos from Canada. Some of the food for sale is possibly 200 years old.
When I turn around, however, there is a new bank facing me. With an ATM. An ATM that allows me to withdraw Kenya shillings from my Canadian bank account. At a good rate. Within a minute.
The contrasts in Africa!
Last night we had 17 at our home Bible-study, led by Marge. It was a great time, and the teachers were greatly impressed with the theme of victory in Joshua! Marge is feeling stronger every day.
Thanks for your interest. God bless.
